Incoming AG to listen to Minnesotans’ ideas about how office can help them can afford their lives, live with dignity
December 13, 2018 (MINNEAPOLIS) — Minnesota Attorney General-elect Keith Ellison will hold an open community listening session in Duluth next Monday, December 17, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Albert Lea Senior Citizens Center. The event is open to the public and free of charge.
People from around southern Minnesota are invited to come share their ideas with Attorney General-elect Ellison about how he as Minnesota’s next attorney general can help them afford their lives and live with dignity. Attorney General-elect Ellison is interested in hearing from people about what issues they believe he should focus on, and their ideas about how people and communities can be better connected to the office of the Attorney General.
This is the second in a series of community listening sessions that Attorney General-elect Ellison will be holding around Minnesota, both before and after he is sworn into office as Minnesota’s 30th attorney general on January 7, 2019. Attorney General-elect Ellison held his first listening session in Duluth on December 4. After Albert Lea, his next listening session will be in North Minneapolis on January 3, 2019. Listening sessions are being planned for other locations around Minnesota for the remainder of January.
